If you are looking to experience real deal, true cowboy way of life, this is where you want to be. Here at the Rafter Star Ranch we live a life that has become a dying art. We do everything on the back of a horse and if it can’t be done with one, we use two. We drive our cattle 53 miles to the top of the Big Horn Mountains and summer our cattle on some of those most beautiful country Wyoming has to offer. We take our draft horse teams and drive a chuck wagon up to the cowcamp where we will stay for the duration. Fall asleep under the stars and wake up to the sounds of the Little Goose Creek trickling besides you and the smell of fresh coffee percolating on the camp fire. Spend your days horseback moving cattle from pasture to pasture, fishing the creeks for brook trout, or take a wagon ride driven by our teamster and learn how to drive a team of horses.
