At Medicine Bow, civilization is at least 22 miles away in Saratoga, Wyoming. With that distance, peace and seclusion are guaranteed here, and the sound of crickets, rivers and wind are the only thing that could keep you up at night. The lodge sits on a piece of Medicine Bow National Forest, in the Snowy Range Mountains between old mining and logging towns of yesteryear. Valleys here are full of streams, lakes, and the wildlife that dwells there. The staff here only has one rule: that guests relax and enjoy themselves, whether that be snowmobiling in the winter or horseback riding in the summer. The pace in the west may be slower, but if guests just try it, they’re guaranteed to like it.
