Lake Mancos Ranch

Mountains, valleys, and rivers…oh my! Lake Mancos Dude Ranch is located in the heart of Mesa Verde Country in Mancos, Colorado. This land is literally rich in history as a former mining town and the streams here are still good for gold panning. Other activities include horseshoes, basketball, volleyball or ping-pong; enjoy hay rides, mountain biking, hiking, cookouts, and river rafting. Mesa Verde National Park and the Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad are nearby for a day outside the ranch. Evenings here are filled with fireside stories, western music, and cowboy poetry. Children’s programs offer adapted activities for ages 4-17 and include campouts and the opportunity to fish for Thursday night dinner at the ranch. Mid-August to September are adult only months that are set aside for special events and weeks with no child care or provision.
