The Wind River Ranch, in Estes Park Colorado, recently finished construction of an impressive climbing wall with three (3) separate climbing surfaces as well as a 600ft dual zipline.
Pretty impressive if you ask me..
Here are some neat construction photos from the build, along with the finished final product!
For all you east coasters planning a Disney World trip before your ranch vacation, there’s a somewhat hidden gem to consider..
Nestled within mouseland is the ‘Tri Circle D Ranch’ (get it? tri circles = mouse head + D = Disney)..
Although not a full blown dude ranch, it offers a bevy of horseback riding activities, including 45 minute trail rides around the natural woodlands surrounding the property. Stable tours & Carriage rides are also available for those with smaller children.
A wonderful opportunity, though, for families interested in some initial riding before they embark on their official ranch vacation!

In a twitter like homage, he produced a 100 second video highlighting the state’s history and outdoor adventures. Baked into that homage is a visit to the Flying E Ranch in Wickenburg. Strap in and take a peek!
